Lume intensity expectations

The brightness and duration of lume depend on several factors, including the type of luminous material used, the amount applied, and the level of exposure to light before entering a dark environment.

Maximum brightness is typically achieved after exposure to direct sunlight or strong UV-rich light sources.

Different models may use different lume formulations depending on their design objectives. While some models use high-performance luminous compounds optimized for maximum nighttime visibility, others may use darker lume formulations selected primarily for aesthetic reasons.

Dark-colored lume compounds naturally produce a less intense glow than traditional light-colored formulations such as BGW9. This is a normal characteristic of the material and should not be considered a defect.

Variations in lume intensity between models, components, and designs are therefore expected and form part of the intended character of each watch.
