The frequency of pressure testing depends on how the watch is used.
As a general guideline, we recommend considering a pressure test:
- Every 1-2 years for watches frequently exposed to water
- Before holidays involving swimming, diving, or extended water activities
- After any significant impact to the watch
- After any service requiring the case to be opened
- Whenever there is concern regarding water resistance performance
For watches that rarely come into contact with water, testing may be required less frequently.
