Can I restore the original bronze finish?

Bronze patina develops only on the surface of the metal and can generally be reduced or removed if desired.

To restore a brighter appearance, customers may use our metal polishing cloth, available for purchase on our website. This is often sufficient to remove light surface oxidation and refresh the appearance of the case.

For more advanced cleaning, many enthusiasts also use common metal polishing products such as Sidol®. When using any polishing product, it is important to carefully follow the manufacturer's instructions and thoroughly remove any residue after treatment.

After cleaning, the case should be rinsed and dried completely to ensure that no polishing compounds remain on the surface, as residual product may continue reacting with the metal and influence future oxidation.

Many collectors choose to preserve the patina because it reflects the unique aging process of the watch and develops differently on every piece.
