How should I use the crown correctly?

The crown is one of the most important components of a watch and should be operated carefully to ensure proper functioning and maintain water resistance.

Before adjusting the time, date, or manually winding the movement, ensure that the crown is in the correct position according to the operating instructions for your specific model.

For watches equipped with a screw-down crown:

1. Unscrew the crown by turning it counterclockwise until it releases.
2. Perform the required adjustment.
3. Once finished, gently press the crown toward the case and screw it down clockwise until fully secured.

Avoid forcing the crown when winding or adjusting the watch. Excessive force may damage the movement or crown components.

To preserve water resistance, always ensure that the crown is fully secured before exposing the watch to water.
