Water resistance guidelines

Water resistance ratings indicate the level of protection against water ingress under specific testing conditions.

To preserve water resistance performance, we recommend:

• Ensuring the crown is fully pushed in or screwed down before contact with water
• Avoiding operation of the crown or pushers while the watch is wet
• Avoiding exposure to hot water, steam rooms, saunas, and sudden temperature changes
• Having water resistance checked periodically, especially after impacts or service work

Water resistance is not permanent and may decrease over time due to normal wear of seals and gaskets.
