Rotor noise and automatic movement behavior

Automatic watches are powered by a rotor that moves freely as the watch is worn.

Depending on the movement design, it is normal to hear or feel the rotor rotating during daily use.

Some automatic movements produce more noticeable rotor sounds or vibrations than others, particularly during sudden wrist movements.

These characteristics are generally considered normal and are not usually indicative of a defect.
