The Venezianico warranty does not cover damage, defects, or cosmetic alterations resulting from causes other than manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.

Examples of situations generally not covered by the warranty include, but are not limited to:

Normal wear and tear

• Scratches, dents and cosmetic wear.
• Wear of straps, bracelets, buckles, coatings and consumable components.
• Natural ageing, discoloration or oxidation of materials over time.

Accidental damage

• Damage caused by impacts, drops or crushing.
• Damage caused by improper transportation or storage.
• Damage resulting from fire, flooding or other external events.

Improper use

• Failure to use the watch in accordance with the user instructions.
• Improper handling or misuse of the product.
• Damage resulting from failure to follow water resistance guidelines.
• Use of the watch outside its intended operating conditions.

Improper care and maintenance

• Failure to follow the official care and maintenance instructions provided by Venezianico.
• Use of cleaning methods or maintenance procedures not recommended by Venezianico.
• Damage resulting from improper cleaning, handling or storage.

Chemical exposure

Damage caused by exposure to products or substances not recommended by Venezianico, including but not limited to:

• Alcohol-based disinfectants.
• Solvents.
• Aggressive detergents.
• Industrial cleaning products.
• Corrosive chemicals.
• Acids or alkaline substances.
• Abrasive compounds.

Unauthorized interventions

• Repairs, servicing or modifications performed by unauthorized persons or service centers.
• Disassembly or alteration of the watch or its components.
• Installation of non-original or incompatible replacement parts.

Decorative finishes and hand-applied ink decorations

For models featuring hand-applied ink decorations on the case, bezel, case back or other external components, the warranty does not cover any deterioration, fading, discoloration, loss of adhesion or other alteration of the decorative finish resulting from:

• failure to follow the official care or aftercare instructions provided by Venezianico;
• use of products, chemicals or cleaning methods not recommended by Venezianico;
• exposure to alcohol-based disinfectants, solvents, aggressive detergents or other unsuitable substances;
• improper cleaning, handling, storage or maintenance;
• normal wear and tear, misuse, negligence or accidental damage.

Because these decorative elements are handcrafted and require specific care, warranty coverage applies only when the official care instructions have been fully followed.

Water damage

Water damage is evaluated individually to determine whether it resulted from a manufacturing defect or from improper use, failure to ensure the crown was properly secured, operation of the watch underwater, or use beyond the specified water resistance rating.

Technical assessment

All warranty claims are subject to inspection and technical evaluation by Venezianico. Warranty eligibility is determined after verification that the product has been used and maintained in accordance with the official instructions.
